For the LOVE of Nature

I love photographing Nature, birds and animals and the scenes around me and spring means the birds are back singing in the trees and the new calves are romping around.......such fun.  I was thrilled to get this hawk shot on a drive last week and the swans by the hundreds on a drive east yesterday!!

Enjoyed having Tuff come for his 6 month photos....Its really great seeing them grow up through my camera....and Avery's session was so much fun and a surprise for her grandma.

The First 5 Months!!

I've been busy in the studio and doing shoots outside (in our lovely mild winter weather) in the 5 short months since I opened my photo studio and went into business.  It's been exciting to have repeat clients in my home already and I am looking forward to growing my client list by attending a local trade show this weekend in Bonanza.

I'm so grateful to the GP Photo Club members for all their friendly help and advice and their willingness to help those of us just starting out in this business.  It's sure to be an adventure and I anticipate meeting lots of fabulous people along the way and I hope I can capture some memories for them.

Here are some highlights of  the winters sessions.  I have been posting on my FB Fan page regularly but since not everyone is a fan of  facebook I will share here as well (until I have a formal website).

My Cameras' have been busy

maternity and newborn pictures (thanks so much Deb for the privilege of taking photos for you)....My girl and her friends......my son (who's not real thrilled when he hears me ask "can you just let me take a few photos to practice") but who is a really great subject to photograph (if I do say so myself) and Kayla and her horses......that was a fun experience!
